I can’t give too much credence to China whining now, because they’ve been the greatest beneficiaries by far of the policies that got us here. As a matter of fact, I find it hard to believe that they wouldn’t have factored in the risks associated with buying US debt while they were doing it. It’s been a symbiotic relationship; they lend us money, and we pull up factories and ship them off to China. Then they sell us their products, and we pay for them with the money they lent us.Who the hell couldn’t see what that had to lead to?

Jenom aby nevznikla mýlka. Na MV (a nejen na OAMP) pracuje spousta schopných lidí, kteří moc dobře vědí, která bije. Jenom se to ne vždy v plné míře projevuje na rozhodovací činnosti jednotlivých odborů MV. Chyba je spíše organizačního či manažerského typu.[U OAMP pak hrálo roli i to, že ve věcech azylu (dnes mezinárodní ochrany) rozhodovali často neprávníci. Od nich opravdu sofistikovanou práci s judikaturou ESLP očekávat nemůžeme. Jde ale opět o strukturální problém. Rozhodovaní takto komplikovaných sporů neprávníky je totiž dlouhodobě neudržitelné. I to se ale už pomalu mění.]
